A Little Extra: The Spiritual Fruit of Faithfulness
Date

Your mercy, O Lord, is in the heavens;
Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds.” (Psalm 36:5 KJV)

Waking up each morning takes longer on some days than others.  However, we do it consistently despite the morning fog. Without even trying, you can say, “We’re faithful to it.”

God is even more faithful to us than getting out of bed each day.  His personality and promises are consistent.

The Bible says that God has new mercy for us every morning, that his love endures forever, and that he never changes. He is the perfect example of consistency.

God has also empowered us with faithfulness. That means we have the capacity to work, nurture our families, and love others repeatedly.

Faithfulness is one of the spiritual fruits that we must strengthen and exercise if we want to see results.

What are the things that God wants you to do more faithfully? Today, ask Him to help strengthen your commitment to the tasks or relationships that may require more dedication.

If you choose not to give up, there is a tremendous blessing for you on the other side of your effort.

So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.” (Galatians 6:9 NLT)
