Have you ever received an unexpected gift during the holidays?  Delight is the perfect word when finding out you have been on someone’s mind; a warm feeling of hope knowing you made The List.

I want you to start this week feeling wonderful about being on God’s list – not because you earned it, but because you accepted the victory that Jesus died and rose to give you. 

“The one who is victorious will, like them, be dressed in white. I will not blot out the name of that person from the book of life, but will acknowledge that name before my Father and his angels.” (Revelation 3:5 NIV)

Once you have accepted Jesus in your heart, your name was not only written in the Lamb’s book, but you were given access to all the benefits Jesus planned for your life.  A river that flows. 

“There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells.” (Psalm 46:4 NIV)

Jesus is the gift that keeps on giving, and his abundant life includes a life of joy for you right now.
