Fruitful Living for Times Like These
In the U.S. and all around the world, things are pretty stirred up. There’s the rapid progression of AI. There are wars and rumors of wars. And there’s a line being drawn between darkness and light, evidenced by the unflattering exposure of once well-admired celebrities. So, what’s up?
Is the rapture near? The Bible doesn’t give us an exact date but rather instructs us to make the most of the time while we’re waiting.
This week, let’s put down the worries, put away the gossip, and love like the rapture could happen tomorrow.
When we approach our days this way, it can’t be said that we didn’t enjoy our lives. It won’t be said that our focus wasn’t right, and we’ve escaped the traps of sin in the meantime, as we’ve kept our eyes on Jesus.
Living rapture-ready gives life a whole new meaning because it makes us love differently. It makes us spend time with our spouses and families without our phones. It makes us reach out to friends instead of tagging them with posts and texts. It makes us take a moment to appreciate the beauty of the sunset.
Seeing today as a brand new chance to do life in a meaningful way is what God wants. He is the God who loves to renew.
“Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed,

Think about one area where you may be rushing through life. It may be the time you spend/don’t spend on something God has told you to do. Write it down and pray about it. Take the opportunity God gives you this week to get started.
