Last night I heard a stampede of footsteps coming towards me. It was my children running to meet me at the dining table with their Christmas lists. After taking their papers, they giggled and ran back upstairs to play together. They were so excited that they couldn’t contain their joy. It was refreshing to see their high hopes.
How hopeful are you today? As children approach their parents with eagerness, we have a heavenly Father we can run to who will never disappoint. Because of this, God has given us the freedom to live a life of high hopes. We don’t have to pretend like we don’t want anything, because God has made it clear that he wants to bless us.
Surprise gifts are always nice, but you can have a meeting with God today to discuss your desires for your business, your marriage, and your job. When we take this journey of hope, we can look forward to each day and discover the miracles that God has on the paths for our lives.
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” (Romans 15:13 NIV)
