Don't Quit. Pray.

The game I had been waiting for was happening, except my team was losing. I was glad to turn to another program when it looked like all had been lost.  Then it happened.  A headline popped up in my morning feed announcing that I had missed my team’s biggest comeback in NBA history.   In my face!

This situation is lighthearted, but it reminds me to take this part of life more seriously. 

When we are unsure about how our next chapter is going to end, we must remember not to give up early, because God is working on something. 

“And we boast in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.” Romans 5: 2b-4 NIV

Be encouraged.  

You may have been belittled in a relationship, lost someone close to you, or recently lost your job.  Listen. God cares, and his word for you today is, ‘This is not the end.’
