You may have received specialized training for the job you are doing now; or perhaps you are still studying for the job you want.
However, have you considered your spiritual gifts?
These are gifts God empowers all believers with to use for a greater purpose.
“There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work.” (1 Corinthians 12:4-6 NIV)
You may have thought about the disciples, apostles, and leaders in the Bible as spiritual giants – ones that God would want to use. Let me tell you today: God wants to use you too.
When God called Paul, Paul was not honoring God in any way, shape, or form. He was actually oppressing Christians. However, God knew that the gifts he put in Paul would eventually be used to bring many to Jesus.
When you gave your heart to Jesus, God gave you a special gift too; perhaps many, and he has not taken them back.
Reflection Tip
Think back. What was it that made you believe you didn’t have a spiritual gift?
Remember, whatever God put inside of you is still there – waiting to be discovered, developed, and activated.
