This week can be a spiritual journey for you – a refreshing for your mind.
It’s all about taking the time for spiritual renewal and staying on track with God’s perfect will for your life.
God’s plan for your renewal is found in Romans 12:2 (NIV):
“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”
Sometimes we get stuck in an endless cycle of thoughts that we’re unsure where they came from. If you’ve felt this way, you’re not alone. It’s a part of your journey and a prime opportunity to start thinking differently.
You may have some questions about your life. Stop settling for a life that doesn’t produce and doing the same things over and over.
God’s perfect plan for your life starts with wisdom – wisdom to seek God for the right thoughts and his way of getting it done.
When we take time to renew our minds, we find just the courage we need to truly be who God created us to be.
What does it mean to have a renewed mind?
REFLECTION POINT
Having a renewed mind means thinking how God thinks and taking time to trust God over our own logic.
How will you renew your mind this week? Read God’s Word and start conversations with friends that can give you Godly perspectives about ideas and concepts where you need clarity.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6 NIV
