This Is How We Share Our Truth

Telling Others About Jesus

This week can be great one for you, and that is the truth. Do you know why? It’s because God is going to provide opportunities for you to laugh at things that are funny, peace when you get frustrated, and healing when the past tries to make a comeback. God is with you.

And so, when we receive God’s help, we must be sure to share the truth about Jesus just as John the Baptist did in John, Chapter 1. As the saying goes, All of our help comes from God.

I admire John the Baptist’s eagerness and readiness to share the truth. When people saw him doing amazing things, he always pointed back to Jesus. That’s what makes him one of the most fascinating characters in the New Testament.

What will you do to get ready to share the truth about Jesus this week?

What is your plan to make his name great after you receive your help from God?

“John testified about [Jesus] when he shouted to the crowds, This is the one I was talking about when I said someone is coming after me who is far greater than I am, for he existed long before me.’

From his abundance we have all received one gracious blessing after another. For the law was given through Moses, but God’s unfailing love and faithfulness came through Jesus Christ.  No one has ever seen God. But the unique One, who is himself God, is near to the Father’s heart. He has revealed God to us.”

(John 1:15-18 NLT)

Like John the Baptist, we will be given opportunities to share how great Jesus is this week. And when we do, we will give others the chance of a lifetime to experience his greatness, his salvation, and his help too.
