Have you ever met someone who seemed like they had it all together when you were still figuring it out? Seriously. They have their dream job, hold a powerful voice in the community, raise a family, lead Bible study, and do TED talks.
They seem to be optimistic in every situation, and you’re over here like, I guess I’ll get up and go to work today.
The truth is, they probably aren’t more talented, but they have a strong will to live out their perceived purpose.
Jesus was the same. He accomplished his purpose because he had a strong will to save us. How great!
When God saved you, he also equipped you with his Spirit to do something great.
“It is God who works in you to will and to act to fulfill his good purpose.” (Philippians 2:13 NIV)
So, in embracing God’s will for our lives, here are some questions we can ask ourselves to kickstart our week:
- What am I willing to do for the Lord?
- How can I demonstrate my thankfulness for his great love towards me?
- How can I prepare myself for it?
“Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?’ And I said, ‘Here am I. Send me!'” (Isaiah 6:8 NIV)
