Of the different types of tests I took in school, my favorite was probably multiple choice. Depending on the number of options, there was at least a chance of getting the right answer.
We tend to view our lives like a multiple-choice test. Trying different things, hoping to eventually get the right answer.
I want you to know that with God, we don’t need to waste any time guessing. He’s given us two clear choices….life or death.
His Word tells us in advance that choosing life is the sure path.
We can practice choosing life with the most basic of things.
When foolishness creeps into our YouTube feeds this week, we need to choose life instead. When negative thoughts come to discourage us, we should cast those down and think about God’s promises.
God’s plan is for us to have a successful life. Let’s agree with God’s plan by choosing life in our daily activities this week and making the most of our time.
“This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live.” (Deuteronomy 30:19 NIV)
